Built in the 1970s, Abbeyfield House in Sherborne is conveniently located just a short work from the main town centre with plenty of cafes and shops to enjoy. The house recently underwent major renovation works, making fantastic improvements to our wonderful communal lounge and dining areas. We have 10 rooms all with en-suites and walk in showers and some benefitting from their own kitchenette area.

We have fantastic transport links, with a good bus service to Yeovil only 10 minutes and the main train station in Sherborne situated less than 1 mile from the house. Nearby, there is a doctor’s surgery, supermarket and plenty of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, Sherborne Sports Centre is only a 15-minute walk away and offers a gym, swimming pool and plenty of fitness classes including Thai Chi, Yoga and Walking Football.
